5 ways to get Vintage Jewellery this Christmas

Posted on | November 12, 2009 | No Comments

Lets have a happy shiny Christmas with lots of vintage Jewellery. Why not ask your loved ones to give you a lovely old brooch or a charm for your charm bracelet, a pair of earrings or that necklace you’ve always wanted?  Vintage Jewellery does not have to be expensive ( but it can be ) and there is so much to choose from. Asking for a piece of vintage jewellery is not enough though. We need to help them to choose the right piece and to know what is real vintage from a new and inferior, copy. Here are 5 big hints we can drop to help ensure that whats Santa brings us is really special.

1. Leave www.antiquesavenue.co.ukvintage jewellery website open at the right page . Put a posted not on  the computer monitor with the word “HINT” in large letters.  All items on the site are available to buy now and are guaranteed to be with you well before Christmas.

2.  Not sure which vintage brooch from antiquesavenue you want this Christmas? Do  a search on Vintage Brooch and then print off the search results page. Hand the page to Hubby / boyfriend / Mum and Dad. Dont be shy, you woulnd want them to get a a new piece of jewellery from the supermarket would you. Of course this works with similar searches such as ART DECO, VICTORIAN, 1970s, Silver or just a colour such as blue.

3. Ask for cash and get the vintage Jewellery piece yourself. OK, it may not be here for Christmas Day unless you get the money in advance but you can mail Anne and I will put it buy for you with just a very small deposit.

4. Buy it yourself. Hey everyone should have a Christmas present from themselves.

5. Sit with them at the PC and help them to make the right Jewellery choice. Perhaps not the most subtle way of getting what you want but such unique items are difficult to come by and not to be missed. How else can they know that that vintage ring is the right size for you?

Coming tomorrow a lovely selection of Jewellery for you to give as a gift too.
